Write

Write is Viro's document editor with AI built in. Describe what you need and Viro drafts it, or start blank and use AI to rewrite, shorten, or expand any part of your text.

   Open Work > Write

   It's in the sidebar. The page asks "What are you writing?"

   Describe the document

   Include the topic, audience, tone, and length. Pick a starter like Essay, Report, Proposal, Resume, or Meeting Notes if it helps.

   Attach material (optional)

   Add your notes, files, or files from a connected drive.

   Select Create document

   Viro writes a first draft you can edit.

Turn on Write like a human for plain, specific prose without stock AI phrases.

Up to 5 files at a time from your device, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox: PDF, Word, TXT, Markdown, RTF, CSV, JSON, Excel, and images (PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC). Viro reads up to about 40,000 characters of text from each file.

• Select text to get Rewrite, Shorten, Expand, Climate lens, or Ask Viro.
• Use the Viro AI panel to ask for changes, then choose Insert Below, Replace, Insert at cursor, or Copy. Use Show changes to review edits first.

The Viro AI panel allows 15 actions a day, and the panel shows how many you have left.

• New Document starts a blank page. It has headings, lists, checklists, tables, and links, and saves automatically.
• Import a Word (.docx) file to keep working on it.
• Rename, move into folders, or delete documents from the list.

On a phone, documents open read-only. To use your text somewhere else, copy it from the document or the Viro AI panel.
