Canvas

Connect Canvas and Viro can list your courses, show grades your courses publish, and tell you what's due. Viro never submits or posts anything.

• List your active courses, with your current grade where the course shows it
• Show upcoming work for the next three weeks, or work from the past two weeks
• Show only the work you haven't submitted yet

Viro can't:

• Submit assignments, post, or change anything in Canvas

   Open Customize > Integrations

   Select Customize in the sidebar, then Integrations.

   Select Connect on the Canvas row

   A Connect Canvas window opens.

   Enter your school's Canvas address

   For example, school.instructure.com.

   Create an access token

   Select Open your Canvas token settings. In Canvas, choose + New Access Token, set an expiry date, and copy the token. Canvas shows it only once.

   Paste the token and connect

   Paste it into Paste your token, then select Connect.

Once it's connected, just ask in any chat. For example:

• "What's due this week?"
• "What's my grade in Biology?"
• "Which assignments haven't I submitted?"

Canvas access tokens don't renew. When yours expires or is deleted, the Canvas row shows Reconnect needed. Create a new token in Canvas and paste it in. If your school has turned off access tokens, only a Canvas admin at your school can turn them back on.
