    Connect GitHub and Viro can list your repositories and the issues and pull requests assigned to you, and read them in full. Access is read-only.

    What can Viro do with GitHub?

    • List the repositories you've allowed
    • Show issues and pull requests assigned to you (open ones by default)
    • Read an issue or pull request, with up to 20 comments

    Viro can't:

    • Read your code
    • Create, comment on, or change issues and pull requests

    How do I connect GitHub?

    1. Open Customize > Integrations

      Select Customize in the sidebar, then Integrations.

    2. Select Connect on the GitHub row

      On GitHub's screen, install the Viro app and choose which repositories it can see.

    3. Check that it's connected

      Back in Viro, the GitHub row shows Connected.

    What can I ask?

    Once it's connected, just ask in any chat. For example:

    • "What issues are assigned to me?"
    • "Summarize pull request #42 in the web repo."
    • "Which of my open issues are the oldest?"

    Why can't Viro see a repository?

    Viro only sees the repositories you allowed when you installed the app. Disconnect, connect again, and select more repositories. If you also connect Linear, Viro shows your assigned GitHub and Linear issues together.

    How do I disconnect GitHub?

    In Customize > Integrations, select Disconnect on the GitHub row. This deletes the connection Viro stored. Your past chats aren't deleted. The Viro app stays installed on GitHub until you remove it in your GitHub settings under Applications.

    Is my GitHub data private?

    Viro reads your GitHub data only to answer what you ask. It's never used to train AI models, and Viro never sells your data.
