    AI Models

    Viro includes four AI models: Viro AI, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Viro AI is the default, you can switch models at any point in a conversation, and every model is available on every plan, including Free.

    Which models are available?

    Viro AI routes each request to a model sized for it: small, efficient models for simple questions and larger models for complex tasks. That keeps replies fast and cuts the energy each one uses.

    How do I switch models?

    1. In the message box, open the model menu. It shows the name of the model you're using.
    2. Choose Viro AI, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
    3. Send your message. The model you chose answers from that point on, with the conversation so far as context.

    A switch lasts for the current session. New chats, and older chats you reopen, start with your default model.

    How do I change my default model?

    1. Select your email at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings.
    2. Under Account, select Default AI Model.
    3. Choose the model you want new chats to start with.

    Your default is saved to your account, so it applies on the web and in the apps.

    Things to know

    • Different models give different answers, writing styles, and levels of detail. If an answer misses, switch models and ask again.
    • The same usage limits apply whichever model you use.

    AI models can make mistakes.

    Double-check important information, especially for medical, legal, financial, or other high-stakes decisions.

    Does Viro remember which model I picked?

    Your default model is saved to your account. If you switch models inside a chat, that choice lasts for the current session, and new chats start with your default.
