Slack

Connect Slack and Viro can catch you up on channels, search messages, and summarize threads, across all your workspaces. Viro can't post.

• Catch you up on recent messages in channels you're a member of, including private channels and group DMs
• Search messages in public channels
• Read and summarize a thread

Viro can't:

• Read one-to-one direct messages
• Search inside private channels
• Post or reply in Slack

   Open Customize > Integrations

   Select Customize in the sidebar, then Integrations.

   Select Connect on the Slack row

   Sign in to Slack and approve access for your workspace.

   Check that it's connected

   Back in Viro, the Slack row shows Connected.

Once it's connected, just ask in any chat. For example:

• "What did I miss in #marketing today?"
• "Search Slack for the launch date."
• "Summarize the thread about pricing."

Yes. Select + Add workspace on the Slack row, then on Slack's screen choose Sign in to a different workspace. Each workspace has its own switch, so you can pause one without disconnecting it. Viro searches all the workspaces that are switched on.

When catching you up, Viro looks at up to 100 channels per workspace.

Some Slack workspaces require an admin to approve new apps, so not every workspace may be available right away. If yours does, Slack asks you to request approval, and you can connect once a workspace admin approves Viro.
