• Akureyri, Iceland — 100% hydro and geothermal. Cooled by direct liquid cooling and cold Atlantic air. Its waste heat warms a community greenhouse, and the site won DCD's Environmental Impact Award in 2025.
• Blönduós, Iceland — 100% hydro and geothermal. The Arctic climate carries most of the cooling load year-round, for an efficiency (PUE) of 1.03.
• Keflavík, Iceland — 100% hydro and geothermal. On the same clean Icelandic grid.
• Glomfjord, Norway — 100% hydropower. Beside hydropower dams on the Arctic Circle. Fjord water cools the racks in a closed loop, and about 85% of the waste heat is headed for nearby fish farms.
• Dublin, Ireland — 100% renewable electricity. Viro's EU home, so European chats are processed inside the EU.
• Helsinki, Finland — Renewable hydroelectric and wind power.

These sites run at a power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.03 to 1.31, so nearly all of their electricity goes into computing rather than overhead like cooling.

It means the power itself is clean. These data centers sit on grids that run on hydro, geothermal, and wind, so Viro AI is clean by geography, not by carbon offsets or certificates.
