Open Viro

    WordPress.com

Connect WordPress.com and ask Viro about your sites: your posts and pages, drafts included, your media, how many visitors you had, which plugins are installed, and when your domains renew. Viro only reads. It can't write, publish, or change anything.

What can Viro do with WordPress.com?

    • List the sites you can reach on WordPress.com
    • Find your posts and pages, including drafts, and read one
    • Look through your media library, categories, and tags
    • Show your site's visitors and views
    • Show your site's settings and which plugins are installed
    • List your domains and when each one renews

    Viro can't:

    • Write, edit, publish, or delete a post or page
    • Upload media, or install or update a plugin
    • Change your site's settings, theme, or domains
    • Read comments, or your billing and payment details
    • Read the content of a site on the free WordPress.com plan

    How do I connect WordPress.com?

    1. Open Customize > Connectors

Select Customize in the sidebar, then Connectors.
    2. Open WordPress.com and select Connect to Viro

Log in to WordPress.com. When it asks how much access to give, choose Read only, then approve.
    3. Check that it's connected

Back in Viro, WordPress.com is listed under Yours.

    What can I ask?

Once it's connected, just ask in any chat. For example:

    • "What WordPress sites do I have?"
    • "Which of my WordPress posts are still drafts?"
    • "Show my five most recent WordPress posts."
    • "How many views did my WordPress site get this week?"
    • "Which plugins are installed on my WordPress site?"
    • "When do my WordPress domains renew?"

Why can't Viro read my posts?

WordPress.com only lets a connected app read a site that's on a paid plan. If your site is on the free plan, Viro can still list your sites and your domains. When you ask about posts, pages, stats, or plugins, WordPress.com answers that the site needs a paid plan, and Viro tells you so.

If nothing works, not even the list of your sites, check that access for AI apps is switched on for your WordPress.com account at wordpress.com/me/mcp, then disconnect and connect again.

    Which access should I choose?

Read only. It's all Viro needs. The choice belongs to your WordPress.com account, so it also applies to other AI apps you've connected there.

If you choose full access, the connection itself is able to make changes. Viro doesn't use that. It only looks things up in WordPress.com, and it refuses anything that would create, change, or delete something there.

Can Viro see my drafts and private posts?

Yes. Viro can read the posts and pages you can see in your own WordPress.com dashboard, including drafts and private ones. To find them, ask by name: "which posts are still drafts?"

What if I have more than one site?

Name the site in your question, by its title or its address. Viro looks up your sites first, so with only one site you don't need to name it.

    How do I disconnect WordPress.com?

In Customize > Connectors, open WordPress.com and select Disconnect. This deletes the connection Viro stored. Your past chats aren't deleted. WordPress.com may still list Viro AI as a connected app. If you want it gone there too, remove it in your WordPress.com account settings.

    Is my WordPress.com data private?

Viro reads your WordPress.com data only to answer what you ask. It's never used to train AI models, and Viro never sells your data. Posts and pages can include the names of the people who wrote them.
