Rooms

A room is a group chat with 2 to 4 personas at once. You set the scene, and they reply to you and to each other when you prompt them.

   Select Start a room

   It's at the top of the Personas page and on a new chat's start screen.

   Pick 2 to 4 personas

   Choose from your own, Featured, or Community personas, or search by name.

   Select Start room

   Send a message to get the conversation going.

Already chatting with one persona? Select + in that chat to add others and turn it into a room.

Personas don't talk on their own. They reply when you prompt them:

• Send a message and Viro picks who should answer.
• Tap a persona's face above the message box to have them reply next.
• @mention a persona to put them on the spot.

Personas can reply to each other up to 6 times after each of your messages. Then the room waits for you with Say something to keep them going.

Select Manage room or Add a persona to open Who's in the room. Add personas there, up to 4, or select Remove from room.

Rooms are regular chats, so they're in your chat history in the sidebar. Every room reminds you that you're chatting with AI personas, not real people.

Yes. The same rules as one-on-one persona chats apply to everyone in the room. If you seem to be in crisis, every character is instructed to step out together: the scene stops and Viro points you to real help.
